Volunteering

Our team of volunteers provides a vital role in bringing high quality music to life in our community. We would love to have you join us!

From selling tickets to helping market concerts, our volunteers can put their personal and professional talents to good use while being surrounded by some of the most talented musicians in the area. Volunteers also enrich their own professional and personal lives by working with other talented and similarly-motivated people. While all of our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, all share one thing in common—the invisible bond of music.

Concert volunteer tasks include ushering, handing out programs, selling tickets, Will Call support and more, at the five Philharmonic Concerts and our summer Lyceum Chamber Series. Volunteers also serve as ambassadors to WMPA by distributing posters/flyers/brochures in the community, adding WMPA events to community and online calendars, sharing social media posts, collecting emails, along with other creative publicity ideas.
