One of the most direct ways that you can help WMPA is through a monetary donation. Donations are the lifeblood of WMPA as ticketed revenue is less than half of our costs. Any and all amounts make a difference! Please see below for several ways to donate. Thank you in advance for considering donating to WMPA.

To make a donation by mail, please write a check payable to "Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association" and mail to:

Please mark the memo line of your check, "Donation." If not included in your check, please provide your address and phone number. 

To donate by phone, please call the WMPA office at 703-799-8229. 

IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER: Each IRA owner over age 70½ may make a transfer of up to $100,000 per year to a qualified charity. IRA charitable rollovers are tax-free and not included in adjusted gross income. To take advantage, donors need to arrange a direct transfer from their IRA to WMPA or an eligible charity by December 31. Please consult your tax adviser for additional information on how to make this type of contribution.
MATCHING GIFTS: Many employers match the contributions given to non-profit organizations by their employees and retirees. Check with your HR department today to see if they'll match your contribution.
