Upon acceptance into the orchestra, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required. The deposit acknowledges acceptance into WMYO and holds the student’s place in the orchestra. The balance of the tuition is due no later than the first rehearsal of the season. Tuition covers the cost of music rentals, space rentals for at least 25 rehearsals and 3 concerts , printing and postage, and other WMPA overhead costs associated with running a youth orchestra..
Families having more than one student enrolled in the WMYO and/or WMCO receive a $100 discount on the tuition for each additional student.
Check payments should be made payable to 'WMPA' and annotated in the memo line with the student's name and ensemble. Mail to: Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association, PO Box 16442, Alexandria VA 22302.
